Canada and Saskatoon Tribal Council to Announce Agreement on First Nations Child and Family Services Reform

Minister Mandy Gull-Masty and Tribal Chief Mark Arcand will announce a milestone agreement related to the reform of the First Nations Child and Family Services Program on behalf of all seven member First Nations of the Saskatoon Tribal Council. The event is scheduled for October 7, 2026, at the Dakota Dunes Resort in Whitecap, Saskatchewan.

The Government of Canada has issued a media advisory announcing that Minister Mandy Gull-Masty and Tribal Chief Mark Arcand of the Saskatoon Tribal Council will jointly announce a milestone agreement related to the reform of the First Nations Child and Family Services Program. The announcement is being made on behalf of all seven member First Nations of the Saskatoon Tribal Council. The event is scheduled for Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. (CT).

The announcement will take place in the lobby of the Dakota Dunes Resort, located at 203 Dakota Dunes Wy, Whitecap, Saskatchewan.
