Nova Scotia Zone 1 Gas Prices Rise While Diesel Falls
As of October 9, 2026, the minimum gasoline price in Nova Scotia's Zone 1 increased by 1.2 cents per liter to 192.9 cents, while the minimum diesel price dropped by 5.0 cents per liter to 260.5 cents, according to the Nova Scotia Energy Board.
The Nova Scotia Energy Board reported on October 9, 2026, that fuel prices moved in opposite directions for drivers in Zone 1, which covers Halifax, Hants, and part of Colchester counties.
The minimum gasoline price in the zone reached 192.9 cents per liter, an increase of 1.2 cents per liter from the previous week.
In contrast, the minimum diesel price in Zone 1 fell to 260.5 cents per liter, a decrease of 5.0 cents per liter compared to last week.
