Dingle Road Closure Scheduled for Repair Work in Halifax
The Halifax Regional Municipality will close a section of Dingle Road from Oct. 6 to Oct. 9 for repair work supporting its 2026–2030 Strategic Plan. Drivers should expect delays and use marked detours.
The Halifax Regional Municipality has announced that a section of Dingle Road, running from Purcells Cove Road to Dingle Park, will be closed for road repair work.
The closure is scheduled to take place from Tuesday, Oct. 6 to Friday, Oct. 9. Work will occur daily between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m.
According to the municipality, the repair work supports the Moving Better goals outlined in the 2026–2030 Strategic Plan.
A marked detour will be in place throughout the duration of the project. Drivers are advised to expect delays and are asked to use alternative routes where possible.
