Halifax Announces Road Closure on Hobsons Lake Drive for BMO Ride for Cancer
The Halifax Regional Municipality has announced a temporary road closure on Hobsons Lake Drive to accommodate the BMO Ride for Cancer event. The closure will affect the section between Susie Lake Crescent and Horseshoe Lake Drive from Friday, October 2 to Saturday, October 3, between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m.
The Halifax Regional Municipality has issued a notice regarding a road closure on Hobsons Lake Drive in preparation for the upcoming BMO Ride for Cancer event.
The closure applies to the specific segment of Hobsons Lake Drive located between Susie Lake Crescent and Horseshoe Lake Drive. This restriction will be in effect from Friday, Oct. 2 through Saturday, Oct. 3. During these days, the road will be closed to traffic between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m.
While the main stretch is closed, local access will remain available from Horseshoe Lake Drive. However, drivers are advised to anticipate delays in the area and are encouraged to utilize alternative routes to avoid congestion during the specified hours.
