Halifax Police Officer Charged with Multiple Criminal Offences by SiRT
The Serious Incident Response Team has charged Halifax Regional Police Constable Fallon Clarke with breach of trust, false pretence, obstruction, and possession of property obtained by crime. The charges follow a referral regarding the alleged sale of stolen items, including bicycles.
The Serious Incident Response Team (SiRT) has laid multiple criminal charges against Halifax Regional Police (HRP) Constable Fallon Clarke. The decision follows an investigation into allegations that the officer sold stolen property, including bicycles.
On September 4, 2025, SiRT received a referral from HRP concerning these allegations. Subsequently, on October 29, 2025, Clarke was formally charged with four distinct offences under the Criminal Code:
- One count of breach of trust under section 122.
- One count of false pretence under section 362(1)(a).
- One count of obstruction under section 129(a).
- One count of possession of property obtained by crime with a value exceeding $5,000.00 under section 354(1)(a).
Constable Clarke is scheduled to appear before the Nova Scotia Provincial Court at 5250 Spring Garden Road in Halifax on November 27, 2025, at 9:30 a.m.
