September 27, 2026, marks six years since Ryan James Jessop went missing. The Halifax man was last seen on the evening of September 27, 2020, in the area of Dartmouth Crossing. His family has not been in contact with him since that night, a situation they describe as out of character.
The investigation into Jessop’s disappearance remains active and is led by the Special Investigation Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division. Authorities have confirmed that the search for Ryan James Jessop continues as of this week.
To assist in solving the case, Jessop’s file is included in the Nova Scotia Department of Justice Rewards for Major Unsolved Crimes Program. This program offers cash rewards of up to $150,000 for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of responsible persons.
