Souls Harbour Opens New Rescue Mission Facility in Yarmouth
Souls Harbour Rescue Mission has officially opened Souls Harbour South, a new six-unit facility in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, donated by entrepreneur Mandy Rennehan to provide shelter and skills training.
Souls Harbour Rescue Mission has officially opened its newest facility, Souls Harbour South, in Yarmouth, N.S. The launch took place on Tuesday.
The new property is located at 94 Main St. in Yarmouth. It is a six-unit building that was donated to the organization by Yarmouth-born entrepreneur Mandy Rennehan.
Souls Harbour offers food and shelter to those in need through this new site. In addition to basic necessities, the facility aims to provide opportunities for people to gain work experience and hospitality skills.
The mission also allows visitors to contribute to charity through weekend bookings.
