Islamic Heritage Month Sign Defaced by Vandals in Halifax
Vandals defaced an Islamic Heritage Month sign in Halifax. The director of operations at the Atlantic Muslim Resource Centre said Islamophobia is not new to Nova Scotia, but global fear and misinformation have fueled increased hate locally.

The director of operations at the Atlantic Muslim Resource Centre commented on the incident, stating that Islamophobia is nothing new in Nova Scotia. The director added that fear and misinformation worldwide have given rise to hate at home.
